Well, I was quite still the whole time, just waiting for the fox to wake. And though eventually discovering me with its gaze, after a while it just casually trotted off. I was wondering what it had made of me.

Really nice photos of a slumbering fox. It’s not easy to approach closely to a wild fox, I know from first-hand experience, so thanks for sharing.
