Scott thanks for having the quick thinking mind to record the call of the fox at 3 a.m., I wouldn’t have.
I have seen red foxes in the northwest section of the city but don’t know if I have ever heard one. Now, I know what to listen for.
I love to be woken by the fox call. It can be unsettling at first because it sounds like human distress. But, once I learned it was a fox, my world became a lot more peaceful & promising. It’s good to hear the wild so close & unexpected.
